Commercial Coatings – Equipment (1 day)

Phase I of this 2-course program provides an advanced understanding of the specialized types of equipment used during the paint application process in commercial and industrial accounts.

Content covers all aspects of equipment from compressed systems to pressurized fluid delivery equipment. The course focuses heavily on hands-on setup and spray activities, but also provides product demonstrations, classroom lectures and small group discussions.



Who Should Attend

Distributor owners, store managers, inside sales staff, and outside sales personnel who want to increase knowledge of commercial and industrial spray equipment.

Course Objectives

To provide the advanced level of training that is needed by CPC distributors to identify, setup, and troubleshoot commercial coatings application equipment. Students will receive training and information on the various types of equipment used by many modern commercial and industrial accounts.

The student will be able to:

  • Understand how to work safely in industrial paint application environments
  • Understand and recommend compressed air delivery setups
  • Recognize various types of commercial equipment
  • Demonstrate how to setup fluid delivery systems for CPC products
  • Trouble shoot pressure feed equipment in the field
  • Recommend equipment settings for CPC products
