STRONGSVILLE, Ohio, Sept. 27, 2022 – PPG (NYSE: PPG) today announced that it will display its expansive offering of shed paint color options and new color visualizer tool at the 2022 Shed Builder Expo in Richmond, Va., Sept. 28-29, 2022.
The recently launched PPG AQUACRON® coatings color palette is the first to be developed using consumer preference as well as input from shed manufacturers. A key figure in that process is Ruthanne Hanlon, PPG national color and design manager, who will attend the Expo to provide insight and discuss PPG shed paint color offerings with visitors.
“Consumers are looking for more individuality in their sheds,” said Hanlon. “Shed builders are turning to shed paint manufacturers to deliver a greater range of colors that will appeal to those evolving consumer demands. Those attending this year’s Shed Builder Expo will have an opportunity to learn how PPG’s new shed color collection can serve as an effective selling tool.”
Visitors will also have an opportunity to experience PPG’s web-based color visualizer tool. With a choice of over 1,800 PPG colors, users can visualize how color options can change the look of a ready-to-color sample shed or upload a photo of their own.
“Looking at a color chip and imagining how it will actually appear on a shed can be a challenge,” said Jamie White, PPG Business Development Manager. “But our visualizer tool is a game-changer. Customers can play with different color combinations and shed styles to see how they’ll look in action. Plus, shed retailers can link the visualizer tool to their website to enhance the customer experience. It’s a great resource that I’m certain will generate a lot of traffic to the PPG shed paint display.”
