Shannon MacDonald creates brilliant, energetic, hyperrealistic art that leaves her fans awestruck. Her work adorns guitars, drums, motorcycles, boats and cars; and she’s renowned for her canvases, posters and illustrations that portray celebrities from the worlds of sports and entertainment. Her paintings hang at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Hard Day’s Night Hotel in Liverpool.

Shannon was introduced to PPG early on; the family garage housed paint cans wearing PPG’s Ditzler® brand name. In 2011 Shannon attended her first SEMA show. There, she airbrushed a freehand portrait of Richard Petty on a Chrysler minivan. The crowd was impressed, and so were the people from PPG.

You can learn more about Shannon and her work in the most recent edition of the Repaint Reporter.
