Available exclusively to PPG Platinum Distributors, the forward-thinking Distributor Technical Representative Certification (DTRC) program is designed to strengthen the caliber and problem-solving skills of your technical representatives. Beginning with a comprehensive evaluation process, DTRC candidates are assessed in all key areas of refinish repair and their industry knowledge and then performance skills are verified.

Developed through a collaborative effort between PPG and Platinum Distributors, the DTRC program consists of two equally important phases: Online Basic Knowledge Assessment and a rigorous two-day Hands-on Performance Evaluation.

After successfully completing the two educational requirements of this program, the distributor technical representative earns elite status as a Certified Distributor Technical Representative.

Excellence in Distributor Management (EDM) Class

The Excellence in Distributor Management (EDM) class is designed to help Distributors develop skills which will assist them in operating their business more effectively. In addition to skill development, we have tailored the course to include an introduction to key products, marketing concepts, and PPG value added programs.

• Platinum HQ will cover the lodging as well as the meals and beverages throughout the duration of the course
• The course fee is $1,000 per enrollee
• Distributors will be responsible to cover the entire cost of the course fee ($1,000) per enrollee and their own travel expenses
