Did you know P-Sheet mix ratios are based on volume? However, when mixing across the scale, PAINTMANAGER® software converts these volume ratios into weight (grams or parts)?
The conversion from volume to weight uses a product’s density, or weight per gallon. Different products have different weights per gallon. This is especially important with reducers. Because some reducers are heavier than others, swapping them out for one another may affect the proper mix ratio, which may affect application or even appearance.
Bottom line, stick with what you see. It’s important to only use and select the correct products and ratios listed in the PaintManager software.
