Did you know the Date of Manufacturing (DOM) is part of the lot number for waterborne toners?
Both ENVIROBASE® High Performance and AQUABASE® Plus waterborne toners use the first 4 digits of the lot number to identify the DOM. The first two digits are the year followed by the month. In the example below, 1504 14069 is the lot number. 15 is 2015 and 04 is the fourth month or April.
Use this information to help rotate stock and use the oldest material first. Adopting a “first in, first out” (FIFO) stock management practice can save you money. Remember waterborne toners have a long shelf life of at least 4 years but it’s not forever.
