ENVIROBASE® High Performance and AQUABASE® Plus platform toners only require a handshake prior to use. This handshake is an important step! It helps to release the latex particles which lowers the viscosity and allows for easier pouring and mixing.
It is especially important to vigorously shake toners in colder environments since lower temperatures can cause an increase in viscosity.
Unopened toners may also require a more thorough shake since there will be less headspace in the bottle.
So don’t be afraid to shake things up! Your mixed paint will be better for it!
