What products are involved: PPG reviewed the products manufactured, distributed and sold containing any of the six aforementioned chemicals. Of the products identified, there are a number currently in distribution channels whose labels may not reflect the updated Proposition 65 warning. Attached is the list of products potentially impacted by the Proposition 65 listing.
What you need to do: In order for these products to continue to be sold in California, in compliance with Proposition 65, PPG recommends customers follow one of the two choices outlined below:
1. Point of Display Shelf Tags or Shelf Signs with the required warning for the Prop 65 chemical. Here is an example of a Shelf Sign or Shelf Tag:

Below is the wording that must appear on the Self Sign or Shelf Tag:

Several online Vendors offer customized Proposition 65 Shelf Signs or Shelf Tags:
- SafetySign.com, a division of Brimar Industries, Inc.
- MySafetySign.com
- ComplianceSigns.com
2. Relabeling or applying stickers with the appropriate Proposition 65 warning to individual containers prior to further sale or distribution. Due to presence of additional chemicals, some products will require a sticker that contains both a cancer and reproductive harm warning; these items are also identified in the attached list. PPG Refinish customers can request stickers via dl-RefinishPSUSCA@ppg.com
Below is the wording that must appear on the product label:

Note: For products sold via the Internet, the Proposition 65 warning must also be on the product display page for products containing any of these six chemicals.
Please see attachment for affected products.
