PPG will highlight its AdjustRite® electronic commercial estimating at the annual National Truck & Heavy Equipment Claims Council (NTHECC) industry convention set for October 11–13 in Cleveland at the Westin Cleveland Downtown.

In a presentation titled, “Leveraging the Power of Electronic Commercial Estimating Systems,” set for Saturday morning, October 13, Ryan Woolfenden, PPG manager, commercial programs and services, will focus on the benefits such systems offer. Woolfenden will discuss recent advancements in automated estimating solutions and how they improve process efficiency, accuracy and consistency while enhancing a company’s professional image. All show attendees are invited.

“The PPG AdjustRite® system is the only commercial estimating program designed especially for heavy-duty truck repairs. It provides users with the opportunity to make immediate comparisons on the pricing and availability of parts,” said Woolfenden. “This is a significant benefit because the program speeds up the entire estimating and repair process. If the point is to expedite claims, minimize truck downtime and do so in a cost-effective manner, the AdjustRite® estimating program can have a direct, positive impact on a company’s bottom line.”

Woolfenden points out that the AdjustRite® system takes into consideration the overall repair process and produces detailed estimates based on a sophisticated and comprehensive database of truck parts, repair information and logic. The database includes more than 100 heavy- and medium-duty truck makes and models and is continuously monitored and updated as parts costs and availability change. The AdjustRite® program can also facilitate fast parts procurement and — of special interest to anyone working with insurance claims — even assist in quickly resolving subrogation matters.
