The latest commercial coatings technologies from PPG will be exhibited at the upcoming 30th annual National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) convention and trade show Feb. 21–23 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas. PPG will display its lineup of advanced Commercial Coatings products in booth 509.

The NATM show, designed specifically for light- and medium-duty trailer manufacturers and suppliers, is regarded as the industry’s premier event. PPG representatives will be on hand to provide recommendations and answer questions about the company’s diverse coating brands, with a focus on the Commercial Performance Coatings liquid and powder offerings and the features, benefits and productivity they provide.

“This is an extremely important show. We’re always excited about attending and showing the NATM member manufacturers what we can provide them to enhance the appearance, performance and longevity of their trailers,” said Steve Podlas, PPG commercial coatings brand manager. “We understand the real-life coatings challenges trailer manufacturers and customers face, and we know the members are always concerned about quality, durability and efficiency. PPG has solutions for those concerns. All show attendees are invited to visit our booth and see how PPG coatings, including our various paint systems, can help protect their products.”

PPG offers a full range of coating technologies for the commercial transportation and light industrial markets including polyurethanes, alkyds, epoxies, polyurea, waterborne, pretreatment chemicals and powder coatings. PPG commercial coatings products are marketed under several brand names including Amercoat®, Commercial Performance Coatings, Delfleet Essential® and Delfleet® Evolution.

PPG became an NATM member in 1999. It has worked diligently with the organization and its members to address the continuously evolving manufacturing environment with coating products that provide superior commercial features and benefits. PPG began its convention sponsorship in 2003. PPG and NATM also sponsor the annual Green Manufacturing Award honoring the NATM member that has developed the best ecologically sensitive manufacturing innovation or solution. This year’s winner will be announced at the show.

The NATM was established to help improve trailer safety and performance and to serve as the representative for trailer manufacturers and their suppliers when issues of trailer safety and pertinent regulations arise. The annual NATM show provides the group’s members with educational, networking and communication opportunities along with information about the latest industry developments. Show attendance has been growing annually with more than 1,000 visitors in 2017 — an increase of 25 percent over the previous year. A significant increase is expected this year.
